Macquarie Mall Water Play

Scope of works

Neverstop in conjunction with Techno Water Designs were tasked with the design and construction of the stunning centerpiece for the Macquarie Mall redevelopment.

System inclusions.

• 15kl underground balance filtration tank to collect return water from the feature
• 20m3 cast insitu underground plantroom to house the pumps, filtration and control equipment including ventilation with intergrated emergency dewatering pumps.
• Backwash tank and sewer transfer for all discharged water.
• Deep bed media filtration, disc filtration and UV disinfection to keep the water santised at a rate of 5L/s
• Bromide dosing systems with Co2 injection. A full water chemistry control to monitor Co2, PH and ORP
• Centrifugal VSD pump to deliver water to the water maze, controlled by air actuated 3way valves at a rate of 10l/s
• Custom built stainless trough/maze with intergrated LED lighting, nozzles and drainage to display water in preset sequencing
• Custom built logic controller with remote login to view the status of all systems and alarming
