Lane Cove Residence Water Harvesting

A rainwater harvesting system was the final touch to a newly renovated contemporary home in Lane Cove. The BASIX building requirement was 6000lt however after consultation with the client we upped it to 8000lt to maximise the large roof area and collect more water for use on the gardens and internally to flush toilets.

Storage consists of 2 x supatank 4000Lt slimline poly tanks down side of the house maintaining a healthy access way for wheelie bins or wheelbarrows.

A Davey pressure pump to garden taps front and rear provides plenty of flow and pressure for the future irrigation installation.
