Steyne Park Irrigation and turf renovation

Design and Construct an automatic irrigation, tank and pumping system to an existing 12000m2 sportsfield and foreshore. The 3000m2 foreshore area was cultivated, relevelled and returf with Grand Prix Couch due to high seasonal traffic.

Scope of works

• All irrigation works installed by Ditch Witch and mole plough to minimise impact on existing turf
• Davey Vertical multistage pump fed from underground spear points to 4l/s
• Cloudmaster irrigation controller which is linked to councils remote access portal
• 100m 75mm mainline, 800m of 63mm laterals
• 12 x 50mm Hunter ICV Solenoid Valve in valve box
• 48 x Hunter I25 sprinklers @ 17m spacings
