Scope of works

Blick Oval, Canterbury

  • New Toro Sentinel irrigation control panel with remote management on council platform.
  • Upgrade solenoids and laterals to accommodate new sprinklers.
  • 63mm laterals installed using vibratory plough to minimise disturbance to playing surface
  • Turf cut and relay around cricket wicket to install valve in head sprinklers and QCV’s
  • New potable top up to the existing tank to ensure sufficient water reserves onsite.

Punchbowl Oval, Punchbowl

  • 120kl above ground tank on stabilised base
  • A 9.2kw Variable speed submersible pump and control panel with new power supply
  • Tank top up with RPZ and control valving.
  • New Toro Sentinel irrigation control panel with remote management on council platform.
  • New 90mm ring main installed using plough to minimise disturbance to playing surface
  • Turf cut and relay around cricket wicket to install valve in head sprinklers and QCV’s
  • Returfing around tank and open cut trenches.
