Bayview Residence Project Overview
A rainwater harvesting system was a must for this client who had extensive gardens and an existing irrigation system who was concerned about rising water bills. With a large built catchment area, which flows off the property and into Pittwater, the diversion of water was simple. Not so easy was getting the tanks into the ideal location on the property. A helicopter was used to lift the tank from the street and down into the rear yard to be shifted onto the new pad underneath the tree canopy. Over 30kl of storage was installed with a suitable irrigation pump and mains water backup.
