Scope of works
Neverstop successfully designed and delivered the 25L/ps rain cannon irrigation system to apply a whopping 15kl of water in 10mins via 6 post mount rain cannons. The system was independently certified and exceeded the FIH international wet down requirement.
The excess water from the playing surface is recaptured via a perimeter dish drain and returned to a submerged storage tank for treatment and reuse in the irrigation.
A custom designed control panel with SMS start/stop capability handles the pitch drenching sequence with remote management and alarming.
We now maintain this system on quarterly through our PM program.
We were also tasked with facilitating a new 50mm metered potable water supply with 3 x RPZ backflow to the irrigation system and amenities from 400m across adjacent sportsfield.
The pumping/filtration system consists of the following:
