Its benefits are cost savings in supply and installation when compared to sub surface drip irrigation in turf. Its disadvantages are over-spray, evaporation and wastage of water if installed poorly.
This process involves a drip line buried 150-300mm beneath the surface of your garden or turf to keep a base level of moisture in the soil profile at all times. Its benefits include no over-spray, very little evaporation and very little wastage of water if operated correctly. The disadvantage of this product is the cost of installing, as well as difficulties with long-term fault finding i.e breakages and blockages underground.
